Service is Key. I've stayed at the Royal Pacific Resort on two occasions and have had only good experiences with the Bula Bar & Grill. At my most recent outing, my guests and I remained at the hotel's pool for almost six hours. Throughout the entirety of our stay, our server Ginger, made sure we were taken care of. She was attentive and kept the food and drinks coming at a even pace.
I prefer their Island Colada which is a frozen blend of pineapple, coconut and light rum. It's sinfully refreshing on a hot summer day and I've had my fair share of them. As to food offerings, the nacho appetizer is one that a family can easily share. Chicken or beef can also be added to the nachos providing a needed protein boost.
One helpful hint: If you keep the souvenir glass the specialty drinks come in, your future drinks are discounted.

I’m honestly surprised by some of the other reviews. Yes, the drinks are very expensive - but what do you expect at a poolside bar at this type of resort? We’ve eaten here countless times over the years, including a couple of quick meals on our recent trip last month. Service has been great on every occasion, and for a pool bar the food is good too. Really nice fish tacos and great chicken quesadillas. Nice place to spend a couple of hours when you want a break from the parks.
