I come here for the quail. If you want a tender flavorful quail to eat this place does them well. The beans are wonderful also. They can be a hit-and-miss on some of the other meals. Some enjoy it and others don't. Everyone will agree though that the quail are tasty. Service is good. Very attentive. Always making sure your glass is full and if you don't need anything.

Outstanding, original fare! We enjoyed large quantities of delicious, well presented, and fair priced foods! I intend to return and try different selections from a plentiful menu. The best Mexican food I have had around Matamoros, TX. Go early to beat the crowd. Visits 2 & 3 were just as good as the first. We have another week here and will go one more time!
