Just had dinner here. This restaurant was packed so they must be doing something right after only being open for 2 weeks! The inside is cheery with color and the ambiance is pleasant with the oldies music playing in the background. The place has a lot of staff to tend to your needs at a table, high top or old fashioned bar stools at the counter.
We sat at the counter. What I noticed were the courteous, vibrant energy of staff that you could tell enjoyed working together as a team. The owner was busy at the grill, talking with customers and greeting people at the door. Nice to see. Both our meals were fresh and tasty and great price for those watching their budget.
5 stars.
The best burger I’ve had! Great server Shay, music and decorations are great! A step back to the 50’s!
My mother and I stopped in to place a to go order while my dad waited in the car. I ordered and burger with grilled mushrooms and provolone and was very good. The fries could use a little longer fry time. While we were waiting a lady came over to us and we found out she was there from North Carolina to help open this new location. She was very nice, and cute, and gave us a taste of their brownie but frozen custard. We ended up buying 2 pints, one lemon meringue and the other Twix. She also gave us a free pint of Candy Cane for the holidays. All flavors were very good!
Bread was like it just came out of the oven. Great food great prices. Like a 50’s diner
Just came back from Highway 55 with my husband, daughter and twin grandsons. We met my brother and his wife, who recommended we go there for dinner. It was really fantastic. The chocolate milkshake was one of the best I have ever had. The Carolina Burger was fresh and delicious. The kids' meals were adorably presented in cardboard 50s cars. Next time, Jalapeno Cheesesteak, which looked amazing!
