The service was great! My Husband had an patty melt, myself a pastrami sandwich the best ever!
I like the tables outside so that we could enjoy our lunch with our precious dog Lulu.😍
Went for breakfast, corned beef hash eggs Benedict! Delicious, huge portion. Our server Josh was very nice, we will return
Loved it.we got there before 12 on a Friday and it was packed. We waited about 20 minutes (I was sitting in front of the the desserts practically drooling ) the waitress was awesome.gave us some suggestions ,and I had 1/2 of corned beef and clam chowder. WOW was I happy. Plus we started with pickles and sauerkraut. There were 4 of us . So we also had the stuffed cabbage, hamburger and a pastrami. We did not have enough room for desserts so I can’t wait to come back and save room. My neck was busy twisting around looking at what everyone else was having and it all looked good.great place
THANK YOU
Awesome Jewish Deli a must coming to the desert😍 I love the potato pancakes with applesauce and sour cream, and salmon and eggs or a pastrami sandwich with coleslaw or stuffed cabbage rolls😋
Tuesday lunch and had to stand in line. Worth it. Hot pastrami rueben! Hot turkey rueben. With a Kraut and Pickles appetizer. Next time we are in Palm Springs we will return.
Wow! That is the best reuben I have ever had!! The flavour explosion of the meat, sauce, sauerkraut and perfectly crispy rye bread was truly amazing. The potato salad on the other hand wasn’t so good...bland and boring. The service was quick and friendly considering how busy it was. Can’t wait to return to Sherman’s.
Heard negative things about this place and finally tried it out. Not bad! Friendly service, and a huge menu. The food was good (not necessarily outstanding), and it was a simply enjoyable place to eat.
Great food and the atmosphere is simple and typical deli style but the food is excellent and huge portions! Love the potatoe salad! 10/10 rating and service great! Def gotta come back for liver and onions dinner only
Great breakfast place. Try the hash -- wonderful.
Nice to have a ny jewish deli so far from nyc. Huge portions. All the soups were great the sandwiches were thick with tasty meat. Get the bread toasted!
We had a late lunch early dinner. Wasn't to busy on a Saturday. Host greeted us with a warm smile. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. Our server was friendly, had very good knowledge of the menu and did great recommendations.
Food was served promptly and hot. Taste was delicious. Definitely recommend this place. Bring your appetite the portions are really good.
The portions are huge so keep that in mind when ordering. The Matzo Ball soup was phenomenal! Next time I would order just a cup of that soup. The Sesame Chicken Salad was also great but I was full after the soup. The French dip was alright in my opinion. I would love to come here again and try the pastries!
Came here on my way back to AZ. I had discovered it while watching an episode of Triple-D. My lunch started with a small bowel of chicken soup with a Matzo ball. A small accompaniment of pickles and sauerkraut came to the table. Then my sandwich; the grilled Reuben with creamy coleslaw. Everything was delicious. Loved the soup; the pickles; the creamy coleslaw; and sandwich. Only recommendation I’d make is the dressing. It wasn’t the best 1,000 island dressing. It was used sparingly on the Reuben. I took leftovers to go as the portions are generous, and saved room for a little dessert of coconut cake 🍰. The restaurant was crowded as I had about a twenty minute wait. Plenty to check out in the sweets case of their bakery. Service was a bit tardy, and the restaurant is clean. I’m a big guy and sitting in the booth was tight. I never understood why the tables were designed to be stationary, and to overlap the seats. Be aware of that if you’re big like me. My experience was very enjoyable. The check after tax came to a total of $47.95. If passing by again I’ll certainly stop for breakfast or lunch.
There is nothing from my current and past experiences to criticize when dining at Sherman's. Service consistently checks in on how you're doing and keeps drinks filled. John was our server this evening and was a delight. We come for the sandwiches. The wait is not long from the time you order and receive your food, under 10 minutes most times, which could be affected during a rush, of course. The restaurant is kept in pristine condition in and outside. The sandwich combinations are endless and TASTY! You can look up the entire menu by searching Sherman's deli. We do miss their coin fries, but the steak fries they now offer are just as addicting. Especially when you dip them into their thousand island dressing. The dessert menu is vast and very tempting, with lots of chocolate cake options. When you eat here you just know it's going to be of good fresh quality and well prepared. I had the turkey sandwich on wheat bread, and my boyfriend had the corned beef on rye with a side bowl of matzo ball soup. Both sandwiches came with a side of fries, and we requested sides of thousand. Our taste buds were in heaven. If you've never experienced this gem of a deli, what are you waiting for?
Wonderful deli with excellent and tender pastrami. First time having matzah ball soup and won't be the last! Huge variety of bakery desserts!
