The service was great! My Husband had an patty melt, myself a pastrami sandwich the best ever!
I like the tables outside so that we could enjoy our lunch with our precious dog Lulu.š
Went for breakfast, corned beef hash eggs Benedict! Delicious, huge portion. Our server Josh was very nice, we will return ļæ½
Loved it.we got there before 12 on a Friday and it was packed. We waited about 20 minutes (I was sitting in front of the the desserts practically drooling ) the waitress was awesome.gave us some suggestions ,and I had 1/2 of corned beef and clam chowder. WOW was I happy. Plus we started with pickles and sauerkraut. There were 4 of us . So we also had the stuffed cabbage, hamburger and a pastrami. We did not have enough room for desserts so I canāt wait to come back and save room. My neck was busy twisting around looking at what everyone else was having and it all looked good.great place
THANK YOU
Awesome Jewish Deli a must coming to the desertš I love the potato pancakes with applesauce and sour cream, and salmon and eggs or a pastrami sandwich with coleslaw or stuffed cabbage rollsš
Tuesday lunch and had to stand in line. Worth it. Hot pastrami rueben! Hot turkey rueben. With a Kraut and Pickles appetizer. Next time we are in Palm Springs we will return.

Just the best , freshest bakery items anywhere!! Lots of good food and good serviceļæ½
Everything is good. I highly recommend the seeet and sour cabbage soup. Pastrami is great. Corned beef Reuben is even better. Make sure to ask for pickles. It's my first stop every time we are in town.

Loved the Reuben with Pastrami. The best I have had in a long time! The German Chocolate cheese cake I split with my hubby, was scrumptious! Definitely will be coming back here.
We love Shermanās, we go several times during our yearly Palm Springs visits. Especially the corn beef hash for breakfast š³!
The place was packed when went but, got a seat really quickly and the food came out really fast. We should have not ordered drinks so we could have focused just on the amazing food. Bloody marry's where just alright.
My favorite deli in the desert since I was a teen. Always a pleasurable experience and I canāt walk out without dessertšµ
We have been to both locations in Palm Springs and Palm Desert. Some of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. We heard about Sherman's on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and we love it!
Pastrami to die for. Baked goods outstanding. Friendly.
Wow! That is the best reuben I have ever had!! The flavour explosion of the meat, sauce, sauerkraut and perfectly crispy rye bread was truly amazing. The potato salad on the other hand wasnāt so good...bland and boring. The service was quick and friendly considering how busy it was. Canāt wait to return to Shermanās.
Heard negative things about this place and finally tried it out. Not bad! Friendly service, and a huge menu. The food was good (not necessarily outstanding), and it was a simply enjoyable place to eat.
Great food and the atmosphere is simple and typical deli style but the food is excellent and huge portions! Love the potatoe salad! 10/10 rating and service great! Def gotta come back for liver and onions dinner only
Great breakfast place. Try the hash -- wonderful.
Nice to have a ny jewish deli so far from nyc. Huge portions. All the soups were great the sandwiches were thick with tasty meat. Get the bread toasted!
Great NY style deli. The grilled Reuben is wonderful. The sandwiches are large enough to share, or if hungry quite filling.
Great lunch. Be prepared to wait for a seat in this place. The food is always good and there is always a wait during lunch. The sandwich portions are enough to share as well as there fresh deserts.
I love this place. A visit to Palm Desert isn't complete without Sherman's.
Great food, Fast service - breakfast lunch and dinner
We had a late lunch early dinner. Wasn't to busy on a Saturday. Host greeted us with a warm smile. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. Our server was friendly, had very good knowledge of the menu and did great recommendations.
Food was served promptly and hot. Taste was delicious. Definitely recommend this place. Bring your appetite the portions are really good.
The portions are huge so keep that in mind when ordering. The Matzo Ball soup was phenomenal! Next time I would order just a cup of that soup. The Sesame Chicken Salad was also great but I was full after the soup. The French dip was alright in my opinion. I would love to come here again and try the pastries!
Came here on my way back to AZ. I had discovered it while watching an episode of Triple-D. My lunch started with a small bowel of chicken soup with a Matzo ball. A small accompaniment of pickles and sauerkraut came to the table. Then my sandwich; the grilled Reuben with creamy coleslaw. Everything was delicious. Loved the soup; the pickles; the creamy coleslaw; and sandwich. Only recommendation Iād make is the dressing. It wasnāt the best 1,000 island dressing. It was used sparingly on the Reuben. I took leftovers to go as the portions are generous, and saved room for a little dessert of coconut cake š°. The restaurant was crowded as I had about a twenty minute wait. Plenty to check out in the sweets case of their bakery. Service was a bit tardy, and the restaurant is clean. Iām a big guy and sitting in the booth was tight. I never understood why the tables were designed to be stationary, and to overlap the seats. Be aware of that if youāre big like me. My experience was very enjoyable. The check after tax came to a total of $47.95. If passing by again Iāll certainly stop for breakfast or lunch.
There is nothing from my current and past experiences to criticize when dining at Sherman's. Service consistently checks in on how you're doing and keeps drinks filled. John was our server this evening and was a delight. We come for the sandwiches. The wait is not long from the time you order and receive your food, under 10 minutes most times, which could be affected during a rush, of course. The restaurant is kept in pristine condition in and outside. The sandwich combinations are endless and TASTY! You can look up the entire menu by searching Sherman's deli. We do miss their coin fries, but the steak fries they now offer are just as addicting. Especially when you dip them into their thousand island dressing. The dessert menu is vast and very tempting, with lots of chocolate cake options. When you eat here you just know it's going to be of good fresh quality and well prepared. I had the turkey sandwich on wheat bread, and my boyfriend had the corned beef on rye with a side bowl of matzo ball soup. Both sandwiches came with a side of fries, and we requested sides of thousand. Our taste buds were in heaven. If you've never experienced this gem of a deli, what are you waiting for?
Wonderful deli with excellent and tender pastrami. First time having matzah ball soup and won't be the last! Huge variety of bakery desserts!
This is THE BEST JEWISH DELI in Palm Desert. I love their Great lite lunch special that gives you a piping hot bowl of MATZO BALL SOUP and a half deli sandwich. Donāt forget to order a DR BROWNS SODA!
Sherman's is the very definition of a great deli. High quality, generous portions (a side bagel as your bread choice is a meal in itself), and a great vibe makes this a safe bet. Of course greatness doesn't come cheap, so maybe you share a dish. And those cakes they bake are to die for. While certainly homemade, meaty and of good quality, their corned beef hash is not my favorite; it's a small coarse chop rather than chunky with a better mix of vegetables. But to each their own. I would not hesitate to return. We got lucky and scored the last table. I'm told you might expect a line to get in. It's no wonder.
We always eat here on our way out of the desert..the portions are big and the dessert case!!! All made in house. I had the Reuben and my husband had breakfast. Their bagels are so fresh and their cream cheese is smooth and yummy. I've also had the lox and bagels and I get sliced tomatoes and purple onion.....for dessert we had the lemon meringue tart...their meringue is like mine... Very creamy like marshmallow...
Love it! We try not to miss it when we go to Palm desert. Got corned beef hash to go, (something I don't usually like) delicious!! We put it on the rye bread and topped it with the Sauerkraut and tomato from shermans. Highly recommend!
Food was good, service was very friendly, we had the Matzo Ball Soup, Knish and Hot Pastrami. Recommend.
Sherman's is a must if you're in the area. They serve somebody the best deli sandwiches in the area with other really good food and pastries.
We had lunch at this location with friends one day, and were surprised and happy with their extensive menu and fair prices.
One thing that they could improve is their vegetarian options on the menu. Our friends eat meat, but we could only have the potato pancakes and the veggie sandwich.
The deli sandwiches that our friends ordered looked amazing. Piled high with meat, like a New York deli, they were not disappointed.
Both locations of Shermanās deli are very busy, so expect to wait for a table.
Service was good and friendly.
I would definitely recommend it to our meat eating friends!
So yummy!! I had the brisket and gravy. Wow. My parents had the latka pastrami sandwich and my husband had the lox bagel platter. Just so so good! We'll be back. Lori was an amazing hostess/server too!
Our first time back in 14 years and it was just as amazing as we remembered. Fresh food and delicious desert cakes. Thanks Shermanās!
This place is an institution and has a great reputation for delicious deli food and pastries. It was my first visit so I went with the classic hot pastrami. The meat was tender and super flavorful. You gotta add the mustard and eat it with a dill pickle to get the full experience. Overall, just a solid deli with amazing food. Highly recommend.
During a quick trip to Palm Springs, my husband and I popped in here for breakfast, and boy were we in for a treat! The food was delicious and clearly homemade, my husband loved his Reuben that was freshly sliced on homemade rye and we got a large piece of coconut cake to take with us. The coconut cake was probably one of the best cakes Iāve had in a long time! Definitely put this on your must try list!
Closest thing to an authentic NY style deli in Palm Desert/ Springs. Mushroom barley soup is superb. The latkes and beef "sandwich" is totally decadent. Had mine with brisket. Breakfast items are delicious (had breakfast another visit). Service is fine. Palm desert location has a good bit of parking and several outdoor tables. Dog friendly.
Good tasting food and the desserts had the largest portions I have ever seen. It was a little expensive for what it was but service was great. The place is cute reminds me of a old diner.
