I'm so glad I found this place. I got a turkey burger combo. The fries were okay. Nothing really special. They were slightly greasy but that may be just because I got them to go. The turkey burger was seasoned great and it was juicy. The inside was a classic diner. You don't see many places like this anymore. The staff were super friendly and inviting. I would definitely come back here again.
I loved this place. Very nice staff and cozy environment. Food was delicious and portions were great. Tried ham steak breakfast, and bacon egg breakfast.
John's has great breakfasts. From breakfast burritos to scrambled eggs and bacon, pancakes, English muffins; yum! You know it's a good place when all the workmen eat there b4 starting their day! The whole parking lot and street front were filled with their work trucks! The staff was quick and efficient too. They serve items for lunch and dinner too. Even though it was early when I was there, I ordered their fried mushrooms. Oh so good!
I always come here when I visit Palm Springs California. The food is always good as are the prices compared to other places in town. I get the chicken fried steak and eggs with an iced tea.
We ordered chef salads here. The price, I thought, was a bit high however the salad ended up making two meals. So it turned out good. The service was fast and friendly. They do have a fairly large menu and were recommended by some people we know in the area. My atmosphere rating isn't because it was bad, but only because it's a fast food restaurant-not built for atmosphere, rather service, food quality and speed. It was clean.
