Visited this place 2x while in PCB. I love fresh shrimp and this is an excellent place to get some. Great for dine in and easy take out options without the hustle and hassle of a large restaurant. The shrimp, potatoes, sausage and corn were great. Perfect seasoning! A must when visiting! If you prefer to cook your own they also ale seafood by the pound! Definitely a great place to eat for our yearly visit!
This place was recommended to us by a local. There was a little bit of a wait, but the food was amazing. The staff was super friendly. I will most definitely be going back and recommending to my friends when they come to town.

If you want the BEST crab and shrimp you’ll ever have, stop in here. We are visiting from Spring Hill, FL (Tampa area) and we wanted some really good seafood. Definitely met and exceeded our expectations! I think this even beat out our favorite seafood restaurant back home! Service was top notch! 11/10 recommend. You can see we cleaned our plates and we had A TON of food!
The Local Steamer is my favorite place to order from in PCB! I have never had a meal from there I wasn’t satisfied with! Great food every single time! If you haven’t tried them, you definitely should! You will not be disappointed!
We have always loved this place, but it seems something changed last year, they are using different potatoes and different sausages. We didn't care for the change, but the place is still good. The shrimp is outstanding, in fact. The food is reasonably priced, and the portions are generous. There is a lot of seasoning, too, so nothing is too bland. It's ready fast, and we like to order take out and go back to the condo and eat on the balcony. We recommend the Local steamer .
The food was amazing!!! My order was ready super quickly, and it was hot! Both the crab and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. Next time we're in the area, I'll be back!!
We split the snow crab leg platter with mild seasoning and it was amazing!!!!! Local steamer came highly recommended and it lived up to its hype!! You order at a computer when you come in to customize your order and it is prepared fresh! Staff was so kind and deserve to be blessed with business! We will for sure be heading back before we leave from our vacation!
The people were so nice and friendly. You either have to pay card online or order in store to use cash. But it smelled so good in there, and you could tell they knew their way around the kitchen. We got our food in less than 10 minites!!!! We got the crab meal, and it was 100% worth it. I could barely finish it since there was so much food packed in the box. The seasoning is very good, and my friend who is sensitive to spices didn't have an issue with the mild option seasoning. They give you extra butter, and they have an option of adding a metal crab opener (def needed). I can not explain how worth it the food was, would go again.
I got the Royal Red shrimp. Nice portion size. Good good flavor! You will have to peel and de-vein them.
It came with smoked sausage, potatoes and corn. All seasoned nicely, floating in a bed of garlicky butter.

Royal reds platter was amazing! Visiting from Texas. Our first visit to PCB. Tried Local Steamer because we could walk there and reviews are good.
We were so pleasantly surprised!!! Service was great...we brought our food back to our condo and are still talking about how amazing it was!! Highly recommend! Wish we were staying longer to try more of the menu items.
Absolutely worth the price! The food was delicious and the seasoning was amazing! Everything tasted fresh! Anthony was so sweet in taking care of us. Thank you! Definitely recommend and will be back on our next trip to PCB.
Update:
It's now a tradition to visit this every time we are in town. Consistently excellent and always helpful. The crew is laid back and open to answer any questions. They are always happy to help.

Super friendly staff and awesome legs and shrimp in a no frill environment. Forget the fancy restaurant and gimmicks and give this place a try.
Recommend getting the Royal Reds with the legs instead of the normal shrimp.
