Ordered the grouper basket, could not finish it. Easily a meal for two. The fish was very good and at under $10 for the whole meal you would have to try very hard to get more for your money.

Wow! A better Reuben surely does not exist. This place is all deli and part museum. And if you have Navy roots, you're in for a memorable encounter. But hurry - he's closing in six months as the city is expanding the adjacent roadway and his building will succumb to the wrecking ball. Gone will be a place for all who enjoy amazing food in an atmosphere of great character.

Amazing place. The owner was great. The Philly cheese steak is unbelievable. As the owner put it "other places serve shredded roast beef" This cheese steak is made with London broil steak. Real steak. Excellently seasoned, and HUGE. The hours are limited but that is somehow even part of the appeal. You can imagine the owner going home, that he isn't in it all for the money but that great food and great service is a passion for him. This is how local restaurants should all be!
