Inviting, fun and nicely lit eating space. Wide selection of menu items. Staff very helpful with walking us through process of ordering. While waiting for our food, Kevin gave us some history of the place and shared his passion for what they do. And they do it right. All appetizers and entrees were perfectly prepared and tasted delicious. Portions were more than enough. Prices fair for what you get. Just a short drive for us from St. Johns, but well worth it. Will be back for more!

Very Nice staff! Excellent customer service. You feel welcomed the moment you walk in the door! I ordered Pork taco’s, Pulled Pork Kid’sMeal, Pulled Pork Sandwich Combo. The tacos come with BBQ chips that are vey tasty! The pulled pork was very good I ate most of the sandwich without sauce, it was tender and not needed! I did the get the coleslaw on the side. I would recommend if you get it on the side take it out of the box so it’s not warm. The fries are DELICIOUS. They have a seasoning on it that taste so good! Almost like a honey BBQ flavor. The bathroom was clean and well stocked, sooo cute,I might add. Overall a great place to eat and they could definitely handle a large party. The inside was very clean lots of space and the staff sanitized tables as soon as people left! They passed the vibe check!

We had such an amazing experience here tonight! The owner, Kevin, is maybe the most hospitable person I've ever met and his passion for the food he serves is incredible. Not only was the food next level amazing, but the whole place was so clean! We ordered the meat sampler, brisket sandwich and smokehouse fries and also had a tasting of the Mac n cheese, cornbread pudding and the homemade BBQ chips. All I can say is wow. We couldn't stop eating because the food was so good. My son said it was the best food he's ever had and he is not easy to please. We had such a great experience and can't wait to go back. Thank you Kevin and staff for a wonderful night!

What a great place! The food was amazing!! The owner Kevin came by and talked to us and gave us a sample of Ribs!! The staff where very nice! This place is awesome!!! We drove 45 minutes to this place and we will be back!! I can't say enough about how much we enjoy our experience here, from the amazing BBQ, the nice staff and Kevin talking to us and making us feel at home!! This is a must try!!

I got the carnivore picnic with two sides. I miss the creamed spinach that they had in the Corunna location but the food was as delicious as I remembered it being. Staff was friendly and service was much quicker than it ever was in the Corunna location. Prices were pretty steep but everything is these days.

Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious! There is a glitch on the menu online. Pulled chicken does not come with the second sampler. I almost went in and ordered a side of it because everything else was so delicious. But now I have a reason to go back! Edit: I can't reply to owner response... Thank you for the more detailed explanation! The new items sound delicious as well!

Johnny V's was everything we hoped for in bbq! Brisket was tender and juicy, and the ribs were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The best part was the humility, and down to earth personality of the owner, Kevin. He made contact with every guest, and treated us to his family's bread pudding - the best I've ever tasted! Every staff member was gracious and helpful, and the environment was clean, casual, and friendly! It was 100% worth the 45 minute drive - we'll be back!

A must visit! Love this place! First time here. My husband and I were greeted by one of the owners, he told us all about the restaurant let us know to just ask for him if we need anything. Decor and furniture are perfect for a smoke shack. When you walk in you order then go find a seat and wait for them to bring you your delicious bbq. They do take out as well! We are already making plans to come back🤤
