My family loved everything. We order 5 hoagies, it didn't take too long and everyone inside was nice. My husband said it's now his new favorite hoagie spot.

A diamond in the rough...a true hidden gem. This place is pumping out some of the best hoagies and hot sammiches in all of Philadelphia. Tucked on the corner of an unassuming neighborhood, this sandwich shop does not focus on flash. When you enter it reminds you of your childhood corner store deli; with rare candies and sodas and copious amounts of chips to pair with your sandwich. The owner, Foos and his wife focus on delivering high quality ingredients and masterful proportions stuffed inside a perfect seeded Licious roll, to give you a perfect bite, every bite, throughout the whole hoagie. I have yet to have a bad sammy, but the best sandwiches are the Old World Italian, Roast Pork Italianna, and anything with their fresh made chicken cutlets. (Their homemade potato and macaroni salads are no slouch either). Even in a city radiating with great food, Chubby's stands in a league of their own. When you're in the area it's a must stop, but even if you live in South Philly it's worth a trip.

They had the best chicken parm sandwich I've ever had in my life. I finished it in less than 10 mins, and I had zero regrets. As far as delis go, this one is definitely on my go-to list. My only complaint is that they called the sauce gravy. Haha I will be coming back for more! Gonna try the salads and breakfast sandwiches next. Thanks Chubbys for making my new favorite chicken parm sandwich!
