Best soul food in Philadelphia. Best soul food north of the Mason-Dixon. Be prepared to wait (I always call in with my order), but it is well worth it. Everything is amazing (fried chicken duh) but the corn bread is legendary (and sells out fast).

Pros: Very good soul food. Honestly, this was some of the best soul food I’ve had in a while. I ordered the turkey wings platter with Mac and Cheese with Cabbage. Everything was finger licking good. The portions are generous! I appreciate the amounts she gave. I had some left over for the next day. Cons: Just for transparency. The wait is long. I ordered 2 hours in advance. It wasn’t an issue for me since I planned it out that way. So order ahead. Overall 5 stars because she is a beast in the kitchen and the food was amazing!
