Preacher's Smokehouse Pigeon Forge

I've been wanting to try this place out for a while, and it was worth the wait. They're only open Thursday - Saturday, so I stopped on a Thursday around 2pm. There was only 1 other couple in the dining room. You order & pay, outside where the menu is, then you can either sit outside if the table is available, or you can go inside to the dining room. I got the pulled pork sandwich with potato salad and hush puppies. They have canned drinks you can order, but they said I could bring my bottled water in. The dining room isn't very big, so I'm not sure if it gets crowded on the weekends, but you can always get it to go. Everything tasted great! The only thing I could complain about, is the can of Coke wasn't very cold, but I'm used to drinking things ice cold. The other couple had the sampler plate, & they said everything tasted fantastic. I didn't use the restroom while I was there, but they did assure me they had one, so I'm not sure why some reviews are saying they don't. I'll check it out next time. The owner & the guy who brought out my food were extremely friendly, & they checked on me several times. He told me that Jimmy Fallon actually ate there, while he was making a movie with Dolly Parton. I didn't see any celebrities while I was there, but I heard others have popped in as well. I'm definitely going back to try their other BBQ items. My only suggestion, would be to have some light music playing in the dining room. It was so quiet in there, I could hear everyone eating. 😂
