Forno Nero

Individual pizzas that are more Italian style than American. The pizza was incredibly fresh tasting and came out quickly. The staff was friendly without any seats available at Legacy Hall we sat at the convenient stools at Forno Nero. The staff was friendly and it was fun to watch the pizza be created and cooked in front of me.

This is my favorite meal I’ve had so far at legacy hall. I got the truffle pizza and it was great. The flavors were all perfect and it wasn’t too greasy. I ate 3 out of 4 slices and didn’t feel sick or too full after eating it which tends to happen for me sometimes when I eat pizza. The dough was delicious and I even enjoyed eating the crust. Also, I didn’t think it was a bad price considering a burger and fries would cost you the same amount.

Very boring, mediocre tasting, and high price pizza with terrible service that’s just not worth the time and effort. To top it off, the pizza hardly stayed hot for more than a minute despite coming out the fiery oven. Save your money and just keep walking past this place or visit Sbarro at the local mall for better pizza. Service was horrible too. Here’s the story, while paying for our meal my toddler accidentally touched the foil on the sparkling water can and the very rude cashier insisted I pay for it. It was a sealed can, so what was the issue if the foil wrapper on top got touched. What a rip off, guess that’s how they make payroll or stay in business by overcharging and then swindling customers out of money any way possible. The owners should be ashamed of doing stuff like this. Taking money from a four year old, how pathetic. Come to think of it even the frozen Freschetta pizza at home would have been an improvement to this horrible dump. Save your time and money and just go somewhere else.

The customer service was a little awkward but maybe because I got there a little early for lunch. I got the Porcini Tartufo pizza (not sure if spelled correctly) and it came out to $16.18 for 1 personal pizza. They made the pizza very fast. The crust was delicious and tasted fresh. However, it was just a little too greasy for me. It had a lot of oil sitting on top and it was a little more expensive for a personal pizza. Otherwise, the flavors were fantastic and the crust was crisp outside and soft inside. I will be coming back to try it again.

Spent the day looking at apartments in the area with my mom and worked up quite an appetite afterwards and figured we'd visit some of the local eats and decided to visit Forno Nero in the new Legacy Hall. What a positive experience! My mom and I split a Margherita Pizza. Hot out of the oven we got our food within 5 minutes of ordering and the pizza was amazing! You can tell they use better ingredients than other pizzerias in the area and the staff were super friendly. Needless to say when we finally move into the area this will probably become a favorite for us.
