My family and I come here often.  Pho broth is delicious - the meat is nicely prepared and the tendon is soft and tender.  My wife recommends #27, my youngest son always goes with #18.  I say the Pho New Saigon with tendon, brisket and beef is the best.  For my children who don't like soup the rice dishes are excellent - in particular I recommend the basil fried rice with tofu.  Ah - and the Vietnamese coffee is properly made.  The family who own the restaurant are delightful and friendly - especially their young son Stephen who our children loved to entertain when they were young.

We visited Pho New Saigon during lunch hour. The exterior is nothing to look at, but like many "holes in the wall," it saves the best for the important things.

The interior is small, but clean and airy, with lots of windows. It has four tables and eight booths, including a large corner booth.

We had the Bun Saigon, spring rolls, Vietnamese milk tea, and Vietnamese milk coffee.

The spring rolls were nice and tightly wrapped with several large shrimp clearly visible, with a side of peanut sauce for dipping. They were fresh and light, and without onions or cilantro, which I personally hate. They would probably add those if requested.

The Bun Saigon meats - beef, chicken and shrimp - were nicely spiced and tender. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy, and the sauce light, sweet and just a bit spicy.

The tea was to die for, and my husband enjoyed the coffee as well.

Service was good, but not spectacular. Our waitress had difficulty with English, and another person (the owner?) came over to help. They were courteous and as fast as they could be with the number of people who were coming in for lunch.

They also had take-out, which I have had before, and was completely identical to the sit-down version I had today.

Delicious!. Definitely a treasure! I was surprised to find such good pho in Port Angeles. Very fresh and tasty, with friendly service. They do not bring you the check, just go to the register when you're done. I eat here a couple times a month and have never had a bad experience.
