I lament the demise of the mighty diner on Long Island. Once mighty 24 hour oasis’s that drew in patrons like sailors to sirens in tales of yesteryear. So finding this little gem in Port Washington was a happy treasure. Service was courteous and prompt. The family atmosphere was warm and inviting. Portions and prices were great. I am one that values what I get for my money. This place did not disappoint. You won’t leave hungry. My breakfast came out quick and it was piping hot. I normally don’t eat the toast but ended up eating both slices- with jelly even. I always say eat what is worth eating. Please give them a try, it’s right across from the port Washington train station. You won’t be disappointed. Check out the photos, it was even better in person

10 out 10!!!! Hands down! You have to go to this dinner. Super delicious! Fast and friendly service. Food absolutely delicious! Ask for Sammy, amazing waiter.

Under new management and it was a delight to have a meal here. They now serve dinner too! Space was bright, clean and all safety protocols for covid was put in place here as well. They make a proper chocolate egg cream which I was really happy with. And price to portion size is great. The chicken noodle soup is a must order and so is there patty melt and open faced turkey sandwich! Our server was quick, efficient and very friendly and a ton of to go packages were lined up on the counter as well. Great location since it's right across the street from the train station too. Will definitely be back! Eat local!
