A must-go in PDX if you love authentic Italian, Chef Paolo makes everything from scratch and features some little-known-outside-of-Florence dishes like inzimino and a to-die-for pappa al pomodoro.

What a fantastic little neighborhood gem! Florence food, plain and simple, all made fresh. Great cocktails and Italian beers, solid wine options. Causal and comfortably paced service, which was helpful when asked for suggestions. Clearly a labor of love. I'll be back for the signature eggplant dish alone! One constructive request: either better wine glasses, or go full Paisano and serve the wine in your awesome water glasses.

Burasca is the best Italian restaurant in Portland... The food is delicious, the wine fabulous, the staff is attentive and incredibly nice. It is the perfect place for a night out.
