Amazing food & service! Consistently delicious & exquisite food! My favorite Mexican restaurant in PDX & im from Mexico& Nicaragua& consider myself a “foodie” & they are EXTREMELY good @food allergy (I’m gluten & dairy free) & have tons of options& as a super sensitive I sincerely appreciate the caution they use to not cross allow any contamination! #blessed, it always is good to my soul & belly!
As a former Arizonan I'm always searching for a good Mexican food spot up here in Portland-and this one was a good choice! Friendly staff, fair prices, delicious margaritas, and, most importantly, good food! If you are debating whether or not to stop by this unassuming strip mall restaurant, do it! It's a hidden gem.
Was looking for a local Mexican restaurant as a solid go to. Since I recently moved to sw part of Portland. Glad I finally noticed Raul’s in the Freddie’s parking lot. Stopped by the other day with my cousin and the food was made quickly tasted perf and was attentively waited on. Even being offered refills on our drinks without having to ask.
This review has been written after eating here the second time.
We got there and we were thrown back. No Cantina. When we got settled and reviewed the menu we were very pleased.
The place is very clean.
The service was very very good.
The food and drinks, outstanding.
There isn't any places that we have been that have that has Milanesa on the menu. Let alone, if you ask about it, has the ability to throw it down. This place has it and it's phenomenal. Please do yourself a favor and ask for this dish. You will not be disappointed. Amazing.
Plus, if you pay with cash you get a 10% discount. Who does this.

My fiancé and I always try to go to a new authentic Mexican spot on our Cinyo De Mayo anniversary, this restaurant was a fantastic find! The whole aesthetic was perfect! Our waiter was very attentive. The food was bold and flavorful as well as my drink!
