We arrived in Provincetown quite late, and Ross was one of the only open restaurants. What luck we found it! The service was warm and welcoming, despite us arriving 30 min before closing. The service was very helpful and friendly all evening. Our cider and beer were very nice, and the complementary bread with olives and olive oil was a nice touch. We ordered the cod with mashed potatoes and spinach and cannelloni beans, which was a very good dish. The accompaniments really elevated the already tasty, tender, and juicy cod. We also got the seafood stew (recommended by the waitress) which was really good. All the seafood (shrimp, diver scallop, fish, clam, mussel) was extremely fresh and mostly cooked perfectly, and the broth was to die for. The waitress also brought extra bread for the broth. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Although it’s a bit pricier than some other restaurants, the quality is extremely high.

Our experience for dinner last night at Ross’ Grill was outstanding. The views were incredible and service was impeccable. Our waitress was very attentive. They offered several gluten free options for both appetizers and main courses. We are sad that we don’t live locally to enjoy this restaurant more often!

Beautiful, upscale restaurant. Right in the center of downtown. Proper cocktails in stemmed glassware. Professional service and staff members. The host was especially fantastic. He was very well dressed, and he carried himself with grace and elegance with everything he did. The bartender took my special request and really made my night. We will be returning soon!

Food was great. The littleneck clams were amazing, as was the French Onion soup and the Lobster and Corn chowder. The drinks were good but not amazing. Our waitress Tammy was great; the host a little less so ... he seemed a little confused at times. I asked for a table outside; he said it would be ready in 20 minutes. Much longer than 20 minutes later he offered a table inside even tho there was a table open outside. When I pointed this out he seated us there. The outside table are lovely w/a great view but be warned, the Crown and Anchor is right next store and they like to play disco music all day, loud. Not really the atmosphere I wanted at 2pm in the afternoon. I would strongly suggest sitting inside because of this. Otherwise it was a great experience and I"d go back (and sit inside!).

The food was excellent! The lobster chowder was wow, the oysters incredibly fresh and one of the meatier I have had. The tuna tartare was really fresh and good, although it needed a little splash of salt, in my opinion, but that was an easy fix. The cod, shrimp, scallop fettuccine, and the crab-stuffed filet mignon were outstanding. The portions are substantial, and we brought some fettuccine home. Definitely make a reservation if you are visiting during the summer. We just showed up to try our luck on a Wednesday evening this past July, and we had to wait about 1 hour to sit in the bar.

Nice view, good food, great service. Had the French onion soup, grilled tuna and short rib. Tuna is sushi grade. Braised short rib was tender and flavorful!

Very nice place, with a great ocean view and good food. We had the fried chicken sandwich and the fish and chips. Both were good. My only complaint is that they don't cater to children. There are no high chairs/boosters and no kids' menu, which to me is a bit strange as these are two very simple additions to any establishment.

Lovely setting above the beach in PTown, overlooking a bay harbor. THE most amazing onion soup, perfectly done calamari. Service excellent. The Menu-recommended white blend from a Truro vineyard not worth the $20/glass fee, would try another. Would go back though for sure.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal in P-town. You can’t go wrong with any food joint. Ross’ Grill is no exception. We went on the 4th of July weekend and couldn’t get a table, so we made a reservation to sit at the bar. I enjoy sitting at the bar because you get faster service. The service is fantastic. The food is delicious. The wine is spectacular. Make a reservation and go to Ross’s Grill. Book in advance so you can get patio seating to enjoy the view.
