Rustic atmosphere right on the beach in Provincetown, awesome food. We had the best waiter. Loved the low-key casual atmosphere and sitting outside.
Delicious food, accommodating staff, cozy vibes, and a potentially stunning view if you are on the deck. What else could you expect? My Ptown favorite every time in town. Beats every single Italian restaurants in NYC. (Side note: CASH ONLY folks, just a heads-up.)

The owner refusing to provide any alcohol beverages to a super annoying drunk group was just right. (The group was super obnoxious but she still dealt with them with respect.)
This place is underrated. The setting, the services and the food is all phenomenal. It's cash only so be prepared.
This restaurant experience is amazing. We had eaten at Pomodoro in the North End and were so sad when it closed. We were so happy to hear that Sal's Place is run by the same person. The food is just incredible - I will be dreaming of the carbonara! The ambience is something I will never forget. We ate outside on the deck with blankets while sipping great cocktails and listening to the ocean. If you're reading this - drop what you're doing and call to make a reservation!
Recently I was in Provincetown for the 2022 Carnival and happened to stop by without reservation at Sal’s. We were able to be seated and wow what a beautiful place. The food is top notch, the ambience is classy and picture perfect setting on the water during sunset the sky turned a stunning pink. Next year when in town will make a reservation and make it a point to eat there more than once.
Had a great dinner with my husband at this cute place, we had a lovely table on the deck overlooking the harbor and we had a wonderful server. The cocktails were delicious and we both enjoyed everything we ate very much. No dessert available but they do give you some cute little pieces of fudge which were delicious. The place has a wonderful authentic Provincetown vibe and I hope they can make it through the pandemic so I can come back next summer! Terrific experience.
We had a wonderful dinner and evening at Sal’s. All the staff were attentive and so willing and happy to please. The food was excellent. In particular food limitations and health issues for myself required the chef to create a meal that was amazing and perfect for me. A big thank you to Sam and all the folks at Sal’s!
Wow! Incredible incredible food! My husband and I loved everything we ate. This is a place where when you leave you wake up craving months later. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable! My husband is a fan of octopus and we’ve tried octopus at almost every restaurant, Sal’s has THE BEST in the world!!! The views, scenery is just the cherry on top. This was the culinary highlight of our Boston/Capes trip! We will 100% be back!!
Hands down one of the best places to eat in provincetown! Make sure you call after 5 to get reservations and calling a couple days ahead of time even a better idea. The food is amazing along with the service and atmosphere. For more fun they even place tables on the beach when the tide is out!
