Loved everything about Butcher & Barrel!
We walked in and were greeted by the host Tony, not just a host but part of our wonderful dining experience making sure our drinks were always full, our table was always cleared, and always had a smile on his face! Catherine was our waitress and not only did she always have the best smile on her face, she was completely knowledgeable about the menu.
Make sure to start your night with the Habanero Matador, the perfect blend of spice and tequila!
Then add in a few small plates. We highly recommend the Mac and cheese along with the charcuterie tray. We loved the bison burger and the bread pudding for dessert. Small space that felt cozy and never felt over crowded even though it was a full house.

Everything was so delicious! We had appetizers (calamari, bone marrow and pork belly wraps), drinks, meal (hubby had the Bison burger, I had the Steak Frites) and the wonderful chocolate cake. I highly recommend this place, if you are in the area. If it is on the weekend you'll need reservations, you may need ant time you think it might be busy.
I think we found our new high end restaurant in Racine, a tad expensive but worth every penny. Steak was cooked to perfection proper color texture and taste,. The pork chop 3-4" thick was to die for and will be my next choice when we return, the octopus was the best I've had any place. Vegetables we're tasty. and would be a pleasant snack by themselves. Staff was courteous, fun, and Helpful.
My fiancé and I had been wanting to try this place and it was incredible! From the staff, to the atmosphere and of course the food! We had the urban cowboy, B&B cheeseburger and the beef bone marrow appetizer and it was all amazing! Can’t wait to go back again and try other items on their menu!
Superb food and excellent staff! If you're looking for a place for a special dinner or a casual lunch this is the place to go!!
