This Metro Diner was pretty good. There was no wait, and we were greeted and seated immediately. Black coffee was hot and fresh! The staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. Most of our meal was delicious. I wouldn't choose the pumpkin waffle again because it tasted a bit sour. The bathroom was pretty clean and well stocked.

Ive had food from here two times now. First time, I did a pickup order of the Steak Bowl and Chicken and Waffles. They forgot my Steak and Scramble Bowl but the Fried Chicken and Waffles with the strawberry butter was really good. They did give me cash refund for the bowl that they forgot. Second time, I had a sit-down order of the Turkey plate and Shrimp and Grits. The service was a bit slow initially but it got better. The food was amazing as before.

We went for breakfast during the week and it wasn’t crowded at all. The chicken was really good! The waffles were nice and fluffy, but a tad dry. The grits were good and so was the turkey sausage. I will definitely go again to try some of the other menu items.
