This place has a nice concept and the indoor/outdoor area is great for families and kids. I was used to the old Neuse River Brewing concept so this was a bit different, not my favorite. I felt their beers have changed but that is my personal opinion. We sat at the bar and we had some mixed feelings about the bartenders. In one end you have one that was very attentive and the other one it was literally just taking care of the people that they wanted and ignored my 3 separate approaches to ask for a drink. Food was okay, I read some reviews about the best burger in town, and I'm sorry but it's not, it's.good but definitely not the best. The salad and french dip was good and we felt the burger was just okay nothing out of the ordinary. I'll recommend it 🔥🔥
Finally made it into the Brassiere to try Raleigh Magazine’s #1 Burger in Raleigh! But first things first…
We walked in for brunch, just after they opened and didn’t have a problem getting a table for 2. The inside was not full when we left a little after noon but it was getting there. Inside has a pleasant clean industrial vibe, servers are friendly and attentive. The menu is not extensive so if you’re looking for food I recommend checking the menu before you go to make sure you can find something you like. The Tropical IPA was great and I had a cocktail and it was good. Watermelon salad with nicely dressed cool and refreshing. The onion dip and chips was a swing and a miss for both my wife and I. The chips were kinda soggy and the onion dip was just…meh not any better than grocery store dip. And finally the burger was delicious. I would not put it at number one in Raleigh but it is certainly a top tier burger. Meaty and juicy at 1/2 a pound. It comes with a generous serving of fries. It’s well seasoned on a grilled bun topped with a delicious house made garlic aïoli, crispy fried onions, and house made pickles. Overall the Brassiere was a great experience and I will certainly recommend it and try to get back in again.
They absolutely nailed this beer cheese burger! It comes with fried onion straws, but I'm not an onion fan. The beer cheese was next level good, and the aioli was a great compliment. I'm not usually a thick patty fan, but it was so well done that it didn't matter. It comes with fries but I had to order an extra side of grits and I'm so glad I did! So rich and creamy! They had a pink lemonade sour on tap that was dangerously good. The service was so fast and friendly, and everything was fairly priced. Highly recommend stopping in!
