The place is immaculate clean. The decor is rustic awesome. We had the pollo asado with yuca and it was delicious. We also ordered an Andean power salad with quinoa and almonds, it was just beyond expectations. A must go to restaurant.
We came back today to Viva Chicken after filing taxes. I really needed a cheer up and Viva Chicken is the place to be.
Today we ordered the whole chicken and Viva Salad, chicken soup, and arroz (rice) chaufa as side orders. I ordered the chicha morada, famous for its rich mix of clove, apple, pineapple, and the blue corn. Wife ordered the limeslight, which is a lime juice blended with rosemery, mint, and basil. To top it we shared the tres leches cake for dessert.
This place is vibrant and attention to the costumer is unique. Come have some chicken Peruvian style!
Today I become a fan so I can enjoy a discount next time around.
Tried Viva Chicken for the first time during my lunch hour. If you are familiar with Mami Nora's in Raleigh, Viva Chicken is similar. It's like a more modern Mami Nora's with some variation of the menus. After ordering your food, the staff at Viva Chicken brings your order to your table. I ordered the 1/4 chicken, fresh fruit and french fries. It was pretty good. The fruit (apples, pineapple, oranges) is cut into small squares. The chicken was tender and seasoned well. The French fries were great. They do offer beer and wine as well. Moderately priced. I will return to try more!
