Excellent food. Excellent service! The corn cheese appetizer was amazing! Loved the bulgogi buns too. Can’t wait to go again and try more things.

Oh my goodness so so good!!!! The manager held the door for us upon arrival, (nice touch) and even ran over next door to get some guests a high chair. That's customer service right there! Food was exceptional and we had adult Capri Suns served in these awesome pouches! The service was fabulous and the atmosphere was phenomenal. Go here!!!! You won't be disappointed! I think we've find a new favorite!!!

I am so glad to welcome Kaiju Japanese Resturant to downtown Raleigh! Kaiju is Japanese for “monster”. I’m a big fan of Bibimap and I can honestly say that Kaiju offers the largest, “monster” size bowl I’ve ever seen. Please look at and like my photos! The ingredients are massive! My friends had the Kaiju Ramen and the Poke bowl. They loved them. Kaiju has good seating options, a full bar, and multiple TVs showing Korean Rap videos and the Fortnite Video game. As the menu is easy so is ordering and paying. Local owner, Ken Yowell, also owns Oak City Meatball and Calavera Empanadas. I am confused it’s considered a Japanese resturant on Facebook. Bibimap and many dishes are definitely Korean. Bao is Chinese. Bottom line is Kaiju is good. Enjoy!

Amazing atmosphere, friendly prompt service. Wide range of drinks ranging from foreign influences like. They do carry Orion beer. Decent selections ranging from Bao's (Buns) which come at a rate of 2 for 10$ they have bulgogi, Hawaiian (spam and pineapple), a fish one, fried chicken and a few others. As well as bibimbap and ramen. The Bao's are my personal recommendation all delicious. They have K-pop playing on 2-3 screens boy and girl bands. And usually a videogame/anime on another-2. This place is amazing

*Edited* I had Kaiju's bao buns for a second time and very impressed. The flavors are good and they have just the right amount of condiments so that they don't overpower the whole dish and the price is great. Would love to see a revolving bao menu but the food is delicious and if you've never had bao I think Kaiju is a good option they're like delicious, fluffy, Asian tacos!

I had the raman, it was very good I would not state that it was the best in Raleigh but it was very good. One piece of the meat was all fat perhaps that was a duck fat I'm not sure. I work out too hard to eat something that has no meat on it and that is a slab of fat granted it had a good color but it was all floppy moe joppy. The other piece of pork had some fat but the piece was so good in the ratio of fat to meat was acceptable for me to eat personally I think tonbo is ramen broth and accoutrement is more Dynamic. We were apparently the first dinner guests. My friend had the KFC which is Korean Fried Chicken she loved it - it's double fried. She wasn't thrilled with her side of fries. I will say they were unique however I wouldn't get them again. All in all clean, friendly, fun, atmosphere I definitely want to try out some of their other dishes.
