Food was awesome, the beer was cold, the service was great and everything was delivered to the table quickly! The price is very affordable as well. A friend took me here and after having their grilled chicken nachos I was hooked. I'm not a nachos kind of guy, but this was a great dish that I recommend you try if you have the great fortune to stop by Amigo in Red Bank. I'm definitely going back.

Food is good; prices also. My only issue with them is the clean-up . They roll this noisy cart up to the table next to you while you're eating or enjoying a margarita, start throwing dishes, very noisily, into the big dirty dish bin, then spray a powerful cleaning agent (think Pine-sol or the like) all around. It spoils an otherwise nice meal! They need to take lessons from other places , like Las Margaritas. It may be quicker or more efficient to use the clean-up cart, but it sure does make for a less enjoyable meal.

Red Bank Amigo = the Best Amigo. Anyone I talk to who has visited several of the Amigo Mexican Restaurants in the area pretty much agree that the Red Bank Amigo is the best among the rest. (Everyone also pretty much agrees that Hixson is the worst.)

Look, if you've been to any Americanized "Mexican" restaurant, then you know what you're getting into when you go to Amigo. Land O' Lakes American cheese-based cheese dip (which we all love, admittedly), endless baskets of yellow tortilla chips, cheap tacos and pasty refried beans. Probably all delivered from GFS - but, no matter from where it comes, you know like it, you know you have an occasional craving, and this is the place where I suggest you satisfy it.

Amigo's salsa is actually pretty delicious (no cilantro - yay), and this location delivers a consistent product: fresh, hot, and cheap. This location also happens to have some great servers - very prompt, friendly, and accommodating.

Amigo also great specials (happy hour drinks and, for an example, $.75 tacos on Mondays - hooray!) - but this location doesn't let the hustle and bustle caused by the specials slow things down. Service is still great, tables are still turned, restaurant stays clean, and you're still in-and-out with the rest of the town who is there to enjoy cheap and spicy grub.
