Little Anita's

Best little Mexican food place that you've never heard of in Rio Rancho. I don't know why this location is way better then the Corrales rd location in Abq. Go here because you will not be disappointed. It really just like much from the outside but don't be fooled. Excellent employees and excellent service.

Called to place an order was left on hold for 5 minutes the they hung the phone up. We were driving that way anyway so we decided to go thru the drive thru we were the 3rd car in line no speaker is in the drive thru waited 10 minutes no movement we pulled to the parking and thought why wait with the car running called in again they answered and said it would be 35 minutes so I asked what about the drive thru time she said it takes the same time 35 minutes. Sad. This is the second time they've done this

Amendment: recently I had the opportunity to speak to an upper management member of Little Anita‘s family. Turns turns out the cost for rebuilding their drive-through is fairly substantial. The cost that I can understand would be difficult to manage during Covid. He was sympathetic and understanding to the needs of his customers and they are working on a resolution. Therefore I am upgrading to four stars. Three stars is not how we would normally rate Little Anita‘s Mexican Foods. The staff has always been polite and conversational, food fantastic and never an error in our orders. For this the crew here deserves a full five stars! You all ROCK! However, for several months now the owners have neglected to maintenance the drive thru sign and speaker. We know things are not easy during COVID, but it seems that offering food in drive thru before trying to the window would be much more effective and efficient. We have resorted to calling ahead, but it removes the spontaneous stop to order food. Owners, take care of your equipment please so your customers can order food and your employees are provided the ability to be more effective.

I visited little anitas in rio rancho. There were no customers and as I was eating the young employees decided to clean the plastic shields of the lights. As they removed the very much filled plastic shields with dead flies in void only imagine the several dead glues falling into the pots of food and atop the grill. My stomach turns and it left they area somewhat nauseated. I will never eat there again. Thank you
