Amazing! Giovanni ( the owner) is superb! The best gnocchi in NY State! Everyone in Rochester who appreciates Italian food needs to visit!

Good Experience, Delicious Dinner.... Went to Bacco's with my girlfriend. Small little restaurant, but very homey atmosphere (probably because it is converted into a restaurant from an actual home). We sat at a small table near the front door, and right next to the bar...it was a little cramped in this area, as all incoming guests had to squeeze between the people sitting at the bar, and our table. I am pretty laid back, so this didn't bother me too much, but there are a couple tables by the bar that are definitely a tight squeeze in traffic. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming, addressing all guests the enter, and engaging them in light conversation.

Ordered friend calimari as an appetizer, and it was very good. The gnocchi bolognese is unbelievable delicious, one of the best sauces I have had at any restaurant. My girlfriend ordered the shrimp linguine special, and it was also top notch. Overall very good experience, a place that isn't super fancy, but has a nice ambience.

Romantic and cozy. If you are looking for a true white tablecloth, cozy, warm, classic and timeless restaurant, Bacco's should be at the top of the list. Portions are perfect and the flavors are right on. The Veal Saltimbocca is outstanding.
To the people complaining about portion size and bread offerings, Bacco's isnt olive garden or macaroni grill, so if your looking for all you can eat breadsticks, and macaroni and cheese, your not ready for a real dining experience
