The Frog Pond is a Rochester classic! Love the combination chefs of Sylvester and Raul. You can't get any better than them! The atmosphere is friendly and warm. The wait staff treats you like family if you go there a few times in a row. How nice is that? I love it there!
Great Place on Park Ave. We were so delightfully thrilled with our experience last weekend at The Frog Pond! Teresa was very personable & accommodating & Domenic was great to work with & did a super job hosting us. They went above and beyond for our party of 20 & we would go back many more times. We found a gold mine! Matthew & Omar did a phenomenal job getting us our delicious food & our compliments to the Chef's. We had the famous stuffed French Toast & 17 Burgers & they were fabulous. Thanks guys for a great experience all around.
I loved it. Last evening my family decided to go to a restaurant that I used to go to when I was younger. Charlies Frog Pond. Well, the name, the owner, and the decor have changed. I must say the change was perfect and the experience was even better than I remembered. The food and service was amazing and the menu seemed to be very similar to what I remember from years past.
For those of you that have not been in a while, please don't be sad that the old yellow wallpaper is missing. If you look closely you will see the wall paper now looks like the green skin of a real frog. It makes the old Santiago paintings just pop.
I will certainly be returning more frequently I might add.

Glad to see they are back! Great place for a nice breakfast that's exponentially better than a basic diner!
I was so sad when the frog pond closed its doors, so I was excited to give the new frog pond a try! I had the Samantha eggs Benedict and the banana pancakes. Although I missed the old frog ponds famous caramel and banana pancakes, these ones were still very tasty! The eggs Benedict was good as well. I think it will take some time for the new restaurant to settle in its ways, but I hope it all goes up from here for them :) The service was also very friendly!!
We were seated right away! All of the staff was super friendly and welcoming. I loved how clean it was as well. I ordered the cream cheese stuffed cinnamon swirl French toast and eggs with bacon and breakfast potatoes with cheese bacon and jalapeños. My friend ordered a waffle with strawberries potatoes and bacon as well. Everything was fresh and delicious 😋 I will definitely be back!
It's a very nice local restaurant. Brunch is pretty good. Prices are alright, I would say "honest". I would recommend it for a nice family brunch for sure.
Wonderful food and location! When friends come in from out of town this is where we bring them! Nothing is better than a wonderful breakfast as you watch the hussle of Park Ave on a Sunday Morning. Highly recommend!
