The Old Oregon Smoke House offers an impressive selection of seafood that lives up to the owner's claim of freshness. With a charmingly appropriate decor and the convenience of outdoor seating under a large rain cover, it's a delightful spot to dine. The menu boasts an exceptional range of choices, including over five types of fish or more, reflecting the seasonality of their catch. It's a testament to their commitment to freshness that the offerings change with the fishing seasons. Whenever I travel along Highway 101, this place is a must-visit for me.

Old school place we always hit up when we are in Rockaway Beach. Clam Chowders is great! Crab melt is loaded with crab, and cheese on the top and the bottom. Clam strip basket is always a favorite, fries and clams cooked well, not greasy. Love their tartar sauce.

My husband and I enjoyed this place a lot. Service was good. The cashiers were really friendly and they brought our food out to us. We ordered a crab melt, clam chowder, and halibut and chips. At the counter, they had little packets of hot sauce that we helped ourselves to. Cholula, Tabasco, Texas Pete?, and more. They also had an assortment of bottled sauces for sale. The crab melt was absolutely delicious. They were not shy with the crab. Crispy, buttery, crabby, and cheesy. Wowwww. The halibut was pretty standard. It had a crisp thin coat of batter (not beer battered), served with decent fries and flavorful tartar sauce. I did have to sprinkle a bit of salt on the halibut, but that's a personal taste. The chowder was also really tasty. It had nice tender clam bits. One of the better clam chowders I've had in awhile. Much better than that famous Pike Place Chowder in Seattle. Overall very pleased and would definitely visit again. Parking can be found on the opposite side of Hwy 101 by the traintracks.
