This is my family's favorite restaurant. The staff is very nice, the place is always clean and the food is plentiful and delicious!! Their daily lunch buffet has lots of vegetarian, vegan, and meat options. There's something for everyone in my family!! Sooo good!
What a wonderful place to eat authentic Indian food! Service is great and friendly! Menu easy to understand, with notations to pick your choice of heat.
Beautiful atmosphere and the food is to die for every time.
The food was very tasty yesterday 9-18-17. Especially, I liked the fried cabbage, vegetable karma including cauliflower, chicken chili, and black lentil dishes.
The food is fantastic! The prices are great as well. Saturday's afternoon buffet is a great addition for those who are hungry for great taste on a budget. If you get the lamb and chicken soup, make it spicy 🌶...
Great food! Great service! Good prices. I had chicken korma and wanted to lick the bowl. My friend had chicken krahi and loved it.Good atmosphere (good detail, not too kitschy, very clean).
Good food. Very fresh. Great place to eat as a vegetarian.
Great food, mediocre service.. Went with a party of 6 with a friend of mine who was celebrating her birthday. Not particularly busy in the restaurant. Most tables were filled, but we're looking at 15ish tables of 2-4 at most. We were a table of 6. They seemed to have trouble keeping water filled. They brought out 5/6 meals and only returned with the last one when prompted. They neglected to bring out a couple of appetizers. Overall, pretty mediocre service.
That being said, the food was excellent. Everything I ordered was great and I ordered quite a bit. Heard no complaints about the food itself from any of the other people there. I don't have vast experience with Indian food as a whole, but I would definitely go there again. I just wouldn't go with a large group.
Great atmosphere and service! The palak paneer and lamb curry are my favorites.
Great Food!. Even though I don't live close, when I'm craving Indian food I hop on the freeway and head to House of India. It is by far THE BEST Indian food I've had in St. Louis!
Got the Rogan Josh, paneer makhani, palak paneer, chicken ginger kabob, dal makhani, tandoori chicken, chicken biryani, achar, paneer paratha, garlic naan, and chicken tikka masala. Absolutely loved the chicken ginger and tikka masala. Also enjoyed how light the curries were. Service was also wonderful! Would come again with a group of people to get a variety of entrees!
I enjoy eating Indian food. When I do, we almost always get the Chicken Tikka Masala. Which is what we did this time.
First time eating here. We ordered takeout. It was good. I also ordered a chai. I had to add some sugar, but I like it sweet. One thing of note regarding the chai, they microwaved it. Not sure if this is normal, but I am pretty sure most of them are made fresh on the stove.
I would definitely go back here. I would also like to dine in to see how that experience is. The interior seemed nice.
This was the first of many visits. The service was wonderful, the waiter and staff were very attentive and polite! The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. The food was amazing, I had Chicken Curry and Garlic Nan, my sister had Chicken Tandoori and we finished off with the Mango ice cream. I would definitely recommend House of India and will be returning.
Ordered take out, chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. The naan was delicious, and the portion size of the chicken was very decent. It was also ready in 30 mins as they said so that was nice!
Checked all the boxes for a wonderful Sunday lunch. 10/10 would recommend.
