We made our first trip to The Boathouse (under new management), for 2018 and we brought our 2 Golden’s. Our guys go somewhere with us every weekend and have lunch and this was a great venue for all of us. This place is very dog-friendly, as was evidenced by many furry patrons that day. Dog bowls were in abundance and kept full of water by the staff, who also made a point to stop by and love on the dogs. The new menu was great and the atmosphere was as expected, being surrounded by Forest Park. We will be back!!!

We had to wait about 20 minutes before we were seated but that's because this is such a popular place! This Boathouse is right next to a lake - a very pretty view. If you do have to wait, there is a bar outside and you can sip a drink while you watch people in paddle boats, canoes, etc. When we were seated we found our waiter to be very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our meal and we will definitely be back!

Very convenient place to eat after visiting the Zoo. Not very many food options, website menu and pictures are not up-to-date. Was satisfied with my food choice Fried Cod and Fries. Reasonable prices. Great atmosphere!!! A great place to take your date or family!
