What a cool place with exceptionally good sandwiches. It reminds you of an old timey place, in a very good way. It has the nastalgic deli, supermarket, feel about it. Everyone working and even the customers where all super friendly. The place is impeccably clean, and places to set and eat inside or outside (covered umbrella's).
My lord, do they pike the meat on. The bread is delivered fresh daily, they have 12 very unique dressings / sandwhich spreads (check the photos out for sauce list.
Check out the Pic of the refrigerator where you check out, it's stocked full of tall boys from local brewers (I.E. 4hands, citywide, vacation dad, etc....).
One of the better places to get a sandwich in town. They do a lot of traditional style Italian but do have quite a few different options and offer a wide variety to accommodate everyone. I recommend the Legend Club and I believe it is their most popular sandwich. Or stop in to get meats, cheeses, baked goods and plenty more!
Another spot that epitomizes the St Louis deli scene.
Probably one of the best sandwich places/delis I've ever been to.
I've had the Legend Club and Grilled Chicken. Both were really good, but the Legend Club has to be one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The meat was flavorful and all of the ingredients tasted so fresh. They really pile on the ingredients. The prices are fair for the amount you get and the quality. If you're like me and you love a good sandwich you need to stop by here.
Holy smokes what a sandwich! Tried out this local deli in St. Louis Hills for lunch. Got the spicy "The Legend" sandwich upon recommendation and it was phenomenal. The tuna salad was made fresh today and went great with the chips. This is will definitely be a staple for lunch and purchasing my local meats for dinner. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very classic, old school atmosphere. Great meats and cheese. Many more lunches to be had here! Great prices too.
This local market has fabulous sandwiches, a meat section, tables & chairs with a grocery store in an old Tomboys.
The menu is 3 pages long and most only cost 10.00
Best time to go is after 1:00, otherwise you will be in a line.
Their pinch hitter with Chicken, Roast Beef, Cheddar, Onions, May on White Deli roll, if you like Wheat have that as well.
Daily soups and pasta as well.
If you need catering this would be a great choice.
