An *ABSOLUTE* must! Made from scratch kitchen, inviting owners, & dog friendly patio. Be sure to say hi to the owners New Foundland, Jack. He’s a sweetheart. We stumbled upon The Wood Shack while waiting in an hour wait line for Mexican food around the corner. Chris, the owner, welcomed us instantly when he found me oddly wondering around his patio looking for where the incredible smoked meat smell was coming from... Highly recommend the Mac n’ Cheese Boat w/ pulled pork. Also during your visit, beg Chris & Hope to permanently serve their Chips & Salsa. The smokey/ fresh salsa is SUPERB. I cannot stress enough how awesome this place is. Do yourself a favor and check it out ASAP.

We've been here 4 times now. We've tried 4 different sandwiches and every single one of them has been delicious. The flavor of every meat we've had is so good. Always great specials and wonderful creations on the regular menu. Some awesome sweets too (gooey butter cookie sandwich with peach ice cream to a chocolate caramel gooey butter cake with chantilly whipped cream). This one is very quickly becoming a favorite sandwich spot of ours.

Super excited to have this sandwich place in Soulard so close to us! All the sandwiches are unique and so well made. The meats are incredible and the mac n cheese side is my favorite! These aren't your regular sandwiches, they put together some amazing flavor combinations �if you haven't checked this place out get down there! You won't be disappointed!
