Me and my husband love this place! It's clean, the service is amazing and the treats are delicious. Did I mention that this business is black owned too? We will be returning soon!

I have tried most of what she (The Cake Lady, as affectionately called by my family) offers and it’s all been delicious. Her caramel cake tastes like my late great-grandmother made it. Her strawberry shortcakes and banana pudding are perfect, and I’m a bit of a hard judge on folks’ banana pudding. I’ve had other stuff from there but those are my three favorite.

If you're in the mood for something sweet, but you're not a huge sugar fan; try the pound cake. It contains enough sugar to fulfill your hankering for dessert, but it's not *too* sweet. For $5 you get two thick slices of vanilla pound cake with a light lemon icing. In my opinion, this is one of the better fresh-made dessert deals in-town. The guy at the front counter was very personable!
