Earlier we stopped at Porch on St Simons Island. Definitely had a great dinner! Fried catfish platter. Catfish was crispy outside and the inside was just melt in your mouth juicy. Side of pimento cheese grits was awesome! Coke slaw was really good as well. I decided to add a side of Nashville hot chicken. It had great flavor, and some nice heat that built as you ate it. It’s not Hatty B’s hot, but still good. Fried shrimp platter was nicely done. Added a side of some creamy mac n cheese and porch corn. Very good as well. Lastly we’re chicken street tacos with a side of fries. Once again, a very good meal with tender chicken and crispy fries. Very good choice for dinner and would be happy to go back again!

Awesome restaurant close to the village! All the food here is incredible. Apparently they are known for their chicken which was amazing! Definitely try the frose too - they even serve it by the gallon! Perfect spot for a casual bite to eat! Got an entire meal and a drink for under $20!

After an absence I decided to give Porch a try. The food was good but a little off. The cheese grits were a solid dry clump. The Collards were good. Tried the Nashville hot on the chicken. They say it will make you sweat. It's not immediately hot to the pallet. The heat parks in the stomach and cooks from the inside out! Sauce had an unidentifiable off putting taste. Happened to sit under the stereo speakers. The music was loud but the music was good for the atmosphere. The more important point being although. under the speaker from behind the counter Screeched a cashier about her trailer park drama and she made sure the entire restaurant heard it. although i am gone, i am not sure if she ever took a breath and simply shut up!
