Just had lunch here for the first time in awhile and it was very good. I didn’t take lots of pictures but the house salad was so good I cleaned the bowl. The trout almondine on the prix fix lunch menu was very good. Service was excellent. Parking can be tough but behind the restaurant they have spaces and an empty lot where you can easily park if the street is packed

The evening began with a Clue-inspired atmosphere in their newly remodeled Garden Room. It felt like we were in the midst of a mystery - “Colonel Mustard in the conservatory” vibes! We started with escargot accompanied by delightful puff pastries and a French onion soup that set a new standard. The bread, seasoned with Old Bay, was a delicious touch. And let’s not forget the Autumn in Avignon, a Gin-based drink with pear and yellow chartreuse that was simply divine. The culinary journey continued with the Duck Leg Cassoulet, a dish that redefined what duck should taste like - flavorful and incredibly tender. My bride opted for the Pork Confit Plats du Jour, and it was a juicy delight. Our dinner guests raved about the smoked chicken and the quail and sausage dish. Each bite was a testament to the chef’s skill. Dessert brought a taste of fall with a dish reminiscent of Thanksgiving pumpkin pie and a heavenly lemon meringue. In summary, Maverick Texas Brasserie seamlessly blends French and Texas-inspired dishes in a way that’s nothing short of exceptional. If you’re a food enthusiast, this place is a must-visit.
