Had to try this place out on their last day open. From what I understand, there is an issue with the building/lease. Hopefully they open up again elsewhere.
Not a bad brunch spot. May be a little over priced with unspectacular flavors on the dishes, but the atmosphere was lively. Everyone seemed to know everyone, while the friendlyness meter was off the charts.
Half the menu was sold out, which limited our choices. I think this was due to being the last day open and how busy the place was.
I had a mimosa with French toast. It came with sides of whipped cream and fresh fruit. The French toast was a bit dry and came in little baguette strips of bread. Presentation was awesome but flavor; not so much. The chilaquilles were good but not great as well.
After seeing the reviews for the last couple days, I truly anticipated some amazing flavor in the food. I was mildly disappointed. I'd definitely come back and try this place again. The lobster risotto sounds scrumptious. Maybe I need someone else to order for me.
Really hope this place moves its location rather than shutting their doors forever so I get that chance!
Great atmosphere and a courteous staff make the delicious food even more enjoyable. The naughty holiday decorations were delightful conversation starters and hilarious. I recommend the Bloody Mary for brunch or even the Mimosas which are both very well done. It's a must try if you find yourself in South SA. ..
I had the duck plate, it's not listed on the menu but was one of the specials for the day. My cocktail was a prickly pear margarita, pleasantly surprised with how it wasn't overly sweet.
Went around 5pm on a Saturday and it was not busy, I received wonderful service from the server and the rest of the staff.
They have street parking in front of the building.
