Came here for some chowder and fried fish. I was not disappointed with the quality of the food. The soup chowder was good and I love the fact that they actually use clams. There were some thick meaty clams on my chowder, but it was a little thin for me, I'm used to a thicker soup, but none the less delicious. The fried fish, was good, but breading was lacking some flavor. Food was cooked to order, took probably 10-15 min for it to be ready. Ceviche was delicious.
you might not notice it from the outside but there's a whole lot going on inside this restaurant the staff are friendly and nice people very attentive to your wants and needs and the food is excellent and Adriana who happens to be the owner's daughter and also is a waitress well certainly make your day
Nice little place. Food was priced very fair. The service is prompt, polite, and friendly.
See the pics I posted of their fish n chips, 5 nice sized pieces of fish, crispy fries not overcooked. And only $6.50 per order.
I was expecting higher prices for this quality
.
I only give it 4 stars because a cold pint of ale would have been good, but they don't serve beer or spirits.
Otherwise this is a great place to come and I will return again.
Best fish and chip ever! My regular stop was closed today, so Googled this place. Glad I did. Told them this was my first time and the owner gave me some free samples. Also ordered the scallops and they were perfect. Even the fries were awesome. I'm not a big fries person, but these reminded me of the old Johnny Shrimp Boat downtown L.A. back in the day. Definitely making these my new regular place.
VERY fresh fish! So fresh that some days menu items are not available which is a GOOD thing. They do not over use the fry oil so everything tastes fresh. They make their own Cole Slaw and dressing. The dressing is well balanced so it is NOT too sweet as many dressings tend to be. HIGHLY RECOMMEND (prices good too!)
