Such amazingly fresh fish! I picked this place for my birthday dinner and couldn’t have been happier. The service was excellent, the food was outstanding, and the atmosphere friendly and warm. If you love sushi and fresh amazing fish you really need to try this place.

I have been to many good sushi places and this place was amazing! I was impressed from the chatty Chefs from Japan, to the food they served, and the elegant bar area. It is probably the only place with a completely open sushi bar in San Francisco, let alone San Bruno! I was told the design was inspired by the glam style of Ginza, Tokyo. The chefs did their magic right in front of me and worked their "samurai" knives artistically on my sashimi. The result was so pretty I almost didn't want to eat it. They told me their Ikura was marinated in-house and it was to die for. Simply the best I have had and I have had many Ikura. They popped "crispily" and effortlessly and released their juice which tasted complex, sweet and savory, unlike others that were usually just salty. Sorry I am an Ikura fan lol. Beside fishes (e.g. Big Red Golden Eye Snappers, seaweed marinated... [I forgot the fancy Japanese name of this fish lol]) they imported from Japan and around the Americas, I also enjoyed the organic mushroom tempura, the tender beef cubes in a rich yet "unheavy" stew, their super creamy ankimo, and DO NOT FORGET the Live Lobster 3-way for only $22. Amazing! I would go there again just for that. I will definitely come back for more!!
