I probably shouldn’t say this but I enjoy the plate lunch from here almost more then from Hawaii. Everything is so good and the vibes are chill. Whenever I’m in SD this is my spot for Hawaiian plate lunch. I’d recommend the lava chicken or the Korean fried chicken. They also do dirty sodas which are probably really bad for you but they’re really good. Prices are okay.

Pro tip: call ahead, no bathroom If you are looking for ambiance, you're in the wrong place. It smells strongly of Fabulouso floor cleaner. However, the food makes up for it! They have Hawaiian sodas sporadically.

Very good sized portion. The meat is great the katsu is crunchy but pulls apart softly very very good. Musubi is good although not the most spam on it and the deserts are quick and easy.
