It was so great finding this place after they left Encinitas! We went for breakfast and loved it!! The family is awesome and we felt right at home! We wish them all the luck in the world! They deserve it! The food and their family is so worth the trip to Hillcrest to visit their new adventure!!!

Kind of a rustic no thrills kind of place off the main road, but the food is AMAZING!!! And they give you plenty of food!!! The Seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. The Clam Chowder some of the best we have had! Will definitely be going back.

I thought this place was great! We stopped in for something different, and were rewarded with excellent quality fresh fish at a reasonable price. We got sandwiches, which when cut in half were big enough to pass for two sandwiches. We picked the chipotle marinade and it was tasty and just the right amount of spicy. Homemade fries were excellent. Overall this was a really pleasant experience and we will return for sure.

Lobster bacon mac and cheese and the garlic butter mahi mahi were amazing! Excellent service, large portions, and friendly staff. Definitely will be coming back for more.

My second visit here and was equally pleased with the food, service and atmosphere. I had the Wednesday happy hour specials of a dozen oysters on the half shell ($1 each) and buffalo wings (75 cents each). Received the oysters in about 10 minutes and wings 5 minutes after that. Everything was fresh and delicious. My hands were disgusting after eating the wings but they were so good. Delicious!

I’ve been there a couple of time and often order online to have it delivered to my place. It has never disappointed me. I always get the salmon platter and it’s cooked perfectly. The seaweed salad is also very good. Portions are generous and the price is pretty reasonable. The times I’v been there, the service has always been great and the staff is always friendly.

Checked out this place for the first time yesterday. Had their Wed happy hour which was dollar oysters and they were delicious. I also had the fried calamari and my friend had the clam chowder. Both delicious! Very good place, fast, friendly, and also dog friendly! I highly recommend this place. I’m only back in SD till the 1st but will definitely be going back before I leave!

Newish Mexican restaurant in Hillcrest. They have multiple food specials through out the week including taco Tuesday, wing Wednesday, and fried fish Fridays. They also have a fried oyster taco for those interested!

Yummy. I got take out from here via Uber eats and the food was delicious. Great and so fresh homemade chips, Mahi poke, and ceviche.
