Alright guys I feel like I should keep this place a secret but I can’t. It should be a crime on how incredible every sandwich is here. Went for the first time yesterday and split a smoked tri tip sandwich and a smoked brisket sandwich. Holy shit it was amazing! My only regret is I waited so long to try the spot out. The staffs are amazing, the foods are amazing, the aroma when you first walk in is amazing... need I say more? If you haven’t tried this spot out, don’t wait or you’ll regret it too. FYI this is my first time ever reviewing a food spot, so I just want to reiterate just how incredible this place is!

Best brisket sandwich ever. Actually the best hot sandwich of any kind ever. I am def going back when I visit San Diego again.

We had no idea what we were in for when we showed up at Surf Side Deli this am before they were even open. They welcomed us and started the coffee and bread oven right away. We ordered ‘The Boil’ (because its ingredients included bacon and eggs) and hung out on the outdoor patio with our dogs. That sandwich was huge and more than delicious! We love this place. We’re going to have to limit our trips to Pt Loma because otherwise we’ll be fat and broke. Go there now!
