Tratto - San Francisco - Photo album

A quiet ristorante to eat at in the heart of the Tenderloin! I enjoyed the serene atmosphere and had fun chatting with my family as we waited for our meals. Other reviewers are correct though - you will most likely need an appetizer to satisfy you, as the portion sizes for their dinner options range
Food is tasty, but the portion is small, so I recommend to add an entrance to your plate. Really nice place. We ordered Pappardelle and Canneloni and a salad that started with ice something (we no longer have the menu with us, sorry) and latte
The Restaurant Tratto was our target, but first I had to drop of one of my Eddington's Edgegrafters to Horton Hearsawho at his shop, the Top Cat, then on to Sloat Blvd. to pick up Slippery Stu the baker at his place down by the sand dunes. The Uber driver was making his money tonight that's for sur
Ten out of ten for eating dinner. Great vibes and good service. Amazing food and super fast service as well. Definitely will go on a date here or for feeling posh once in a while. Though it’s quite affordable. I don’t remember the dish we got but it was some meat with fried polenta. I recommend it b
Dinner service not as good as breakfast service. Chicken was good though. Seasoned well and a good portion
After a long travel day, we were starving and wanted something close to our hotel. We didn’t research, just picked the closest place. We started our meal with the focaccia and the meatballs. Both were absolutely fantastic. For our main course we ordered the pappardelle pasta and the pizza with prosc
Nice spot on the corner. Great atmosphere. The meatballs and polenta were delicious but the doughnuts were definitely lacking something. I took them to go thinking they would taste different after cooling off but they tasted the same as in restaurant. I threw them away. They left a weird after tast
Our server Sophia was lovely! Ever so attentive without being interruptive, and she even recommended us wine to go along our dishes. Portion was definitely bigger than we anticipated - especially the pastas which I think one is good to share between two.
Freshly made food all around; loved that it was all homemade. My friend and I didn't like the dessert otherwise it would have been a solid 5!!! The service and attention to detail exceeded our expectations.
can't help but start this restaurant write up with dessert first! Eat with your eyes! The panna cotta at Tratto—with candied lemon rind, lemon curd, and sprinkled vanilla bean—was my absolutely favorite part of the meal, followed closely by the accompanying house-made pomplecello apertif. I also gre
So happy they re opened. The food here is great and the cocktails off the menu are even better. They feel very COVID safe and the tables were spaced well. The double dolce cocktail was not too sweet and actually pretty refreshing. The fried prosciutto roses with the fried chicken appetizer were a ni
The pizza was great, other items the sizes were lacking but quality food. If you go in a group just get ready for mysterious items on your bill. Doesn't matter if you point out the weekend pricing on a weekday, that will only turn into additional items on your bill. An extra beer, an extra whole pi
Almost hidden Italian spot near Union Square. Was quiet on a Saturday for an early lunch. Very spacious and authentic, with great decor and (what I believe to be) unique pieces of modern artwork on the walls. Friendly and courteous staff (they put out regaining donut holes with extra sauce in a take
First time Italian style breakfast really love it.the waitress is excellent. .very friendly. The food is exotic. Nice and classic place
Italian cuisine, food is good, classic decoration.. serene atmosphere .. a bit pricy
Appetizers were good. We had the autumn vegetables and the polenta. The pizza was disappointing. Had the blue cheese with pear. While the flavors were good, the crust was underdone and chewy- detracting significantly from the pizza. Service was good with a few hiccups. They delivered an appetizer
Nice atmosphere with good italian food. Honest priced house wine, a very good price performance. Some good pizzas ( small, one plate ) and good desserts. I do recommend.
