Had the Thanksgiving menu and it was absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and our waiter was a funny and engaging guy. It was busy, probably due to the holiday, but we had pre-booked and were seated after a short wait. The only fault was that the service was a bit hectic. They forgot one of our sides and the table next to us were forgotten altogether for about 30 mins. But the food is worth it!
RN74 is a mix between a dining car on a train hurtling through the French countryside + NYC West Village wine bar. Classy and upscale but friendly, professional and welcoming (although depending on your server, they may be a little overzealously pushy in upselling you on an appetizer or small plate.) Named after the highway that runs through the Burgundy wine region of France, RN74 is a place to indulge in a pricey upscale meal or just sample flights of Burgundian wine in a fun and elegant setting, from the huge clapping train board displaying featured wines to the energetic buzz of the thriving bar lounge.
Was part of the Michael minna test kitchen concept turned into full blown restaurant. Most patrons come here for the nibbles and great wine selection.
