A good quality Indian food right in the middle of San Ramon. The place is not obviously seen from highway and took a bit of effort to figure out. A decent size restaurant with lunch buffet and menu options. The Bombay Bhel is very tasty and as expected. The stuffed Mirchi is different from other places. Instead of stuffing with onions here they use potato Curry - which is very yummy. Though it is potatoes, the Mirchi used is very good and spicy variety this making this very good and very spicy and one of the best Mirchi Pakora I ever had in East Bay. Overall liked the place and most likely to visit again.

Great value for the $10 Indian Buffet Lunch, includes bottomless fountain soda and tax. Chicken Tandoor was moist and tender. Overall, there was some vegetarian dishes and chicken, goat. Food has some spicy heat before adding. Family style atmosphere. High chairs and booster chairs are under the cash register. But diaper changing table in either women or men's restrooms. Naan was on the drier, stiffer side. All the buffet dishes are labeled. Cafe a Tandoor always serves Chicken Tandoori, Butter Chicken and Spicy Mixed Vegetables as part of their Lunch Buffet.

Very nice dinner option that’s great in quality and quantity. I got eggplant subzi, rice, 4 pieces of tawa roti (whole-wheat) and another curry option as dinner special. Kids loved Potato parata with raita. Everything tasted good. I hope raita was made with yogurt instead of sour cream. I am not sure about that and hence knocked off a star.
