We just kinda stumbled upon Pier Burger! Pretty lucky I'd say! I'm a foodie and always in search of the best burger in town whenever we go. Well without searching this time I think we found it! I had the double meat / cheese Pier Burger...the size of the burger was perfect, the meat was tasty & juicy but the bun, oh the bun, was the best I've ever had...Ever! Soft, a little sweet and toasted just a bit! Add their special sauce and onions and it's simply amazing!! Friendly service and timely delivery of food add bonus points! Definitely go back next trip out West. And it's also now in my Top 5 burger joints in the USA!

I don't like hot dogs.. Tried them numerous times over the years and they are just wrong.. We stopped by pier burger and the Mrs ordered a bacon cheese dog, she made me try it, I was blown away, it was truly amazing... Big thumbs up to Pier Burger for the best hot dog I've had in 42 years..
I'm a SoCal native and i have been visiting the Santa Monica Pier since spring of 1993.
Yesterday was my first time ever eating at Pier Burger.
I have to say Pier Burger is a striking addition to the Pier. The place was packed to the rafters but your awesome staff welcomed me and my friend with friendly smiles.
Our fish sandwiches were delicious, the fries were hot and crispy, the atmosphere was lively for a cold and windy winter day.
I forward to visiting this great place again.

Hot Dog was probably the best I’ve ever had, frozen peanut butter cup custard was Amazing & not too overly sweet! Restaurant was adorable with great pics on the walls & birds roaming around! Service was friendly & helpful! Will return definitely!
We were little surprised to find the burger place on beach. I mean thats a new experience. We were really hungry at that time fortunately we found pier burger. They have very limited but interesting menu from veggie to cheese burgers, chicken burger, shakes everything you ask for from a burger point. We order crispy chicken burger with strawberry shake. So lets start with shake, it was delicious and refreshing. It satisfies our craving and kind of hunger as well and burger was also great. Chicken was tender and juicy inside and especially the sauce in the burger.
Ambience you can say was very crowded and that’s understandable because of beach. But all the servers handled every customer elegantly and with proper attention.

The beef was better than most places in this class, juicier, less chewy and less overcooked, but there wasn’t much of it for $6.25. I guess it’s cheaper than Shake Shack and not much worse so it’s probably a good option on the pier. Staff are quite good even when it gets chaotic and you can get beer but some outside seating would really help.
Located right on the way of the beach the have some delicious range of burgers. I can’t really explain how I ended up having 2 of them. Very fresh and tasty.
One of the best burgers I have ever had! We had the veggie burgers and some fries. The food is generous and definitely worth the wait. Service is pretty fast. They handle the crowd quite well.
Delicious way to end Route 66! Cheeseburger with grilled onions was fabulous as was a lovely Saturday afternoon on Santa Monica Pier. Salted Carmel ice cream ended the meal perfectly.
First time here, and I was looking for something to eat since we were here for a cars and coffee show.
This place was pretty busy and looked like it had a lot of history. I was looking for something breakfast instead of burgers and fries.
We ordered a breakfast burger, and it was amazing. It was fresh and didn't feel too heavy and greasy. The hamburger patty looked like a smash burger. I was surprised along with the bacon and egg it had lettuce and tomato. This is what gave it a balance that wasn't so greasy.
I definitely would love to come back and try the milkshakes and fries.

I was in line right when they opened and had oatmeal, a la carte eggs, and orange juice (total under $10 including tax!).
Pier Burger is literally on Santa Monica Pier and has handled tons of tourists for decades: The service is excellent even when busy.

Friendly staff and quick service as we ordered strawberry ice creams on waffle cones. Very refreshing and enjoyable on a beautiful day at the pier.

Decent amount of options. Got the burger and was served within about 15 minutes even around 10pm when the pier closes and tons of people are being forced to leave haha
Their root beer float was pretty good also but make sure to ask for a straw and spoon.
