Every course was delicious! Full of flavor & had a twist of its own. Fabulous wine which complimented our meal perfectly. A team that provided out of this world service & was very knowledgeable of their menu. Along with an eclectic, hip, yet still quaint & individualized style.
We were even greeted by the Owner Brad. Love this place! Would highly recommend to anyone in the Santa Monica area!!!

I've eaten here twice for lunch and breakfast/brunch. Everything I've tried has been amazing. Very high quality food and exceptional service. The menu also offers gluten-free options, and the staff is quite knowledgeable about Celiac issues. I really appreciate that as it's often difficult for my husband to go to restaurants because of the disease.
Everything about this place is phenomenal! Great atmosphere, incredible food (the steak, the salmon, and the chicken fried duck were ALL out of this world), and excellent wine/beer selections. You can tell so much thought and love went into everything (from the flavor pairings down to the decor). A++++!!
Love the Bacon Cheeseburger or for lighter meal, the Arugula Salad or Shrimp Salad with puffed wild rice and Green Goddess vinaigrette. Yummy desserts. Casual and good spot for brunch, lunch break while shopping on Montana or before a movie at the Aero.
This place is amazing. The Chicken fried duck confit, beef tartar and oysters are definite must haves. They have a fantastic selection of wines by the glass and bottle. The restaurant has a quaint and comfortable interior. I am defiantly looking forward to coming back here and trying more of their delicious menu items.
We went to Margo’s for a dinner after seeing the great reviews on HappyCow. We ordered a starter which was really good, perhaps the best part of the meal. The customer service was outstanding in general too. Friendly, quick, and helpful.
On the other hand, my pizza was just so so, and my partner’s pasta was bland. If we went back to this place we would probably order something else.
Positive experience overall even though the food was just average.

Food is amazing. All plant based and really nicely made. Drinks are really fresh and tasty. I recommend the skinny margarita. Over all; service could be better. At arrival we almost felt that we were disturbing the staff.
Not clear how it works with drinks and food. Some of the drinks were served to the table, the rest of the order you have to pick up yourself in the bar. Tips is to use trays if you serve one, you can serve three. Specially if they are on the same order and the same kind. You will not be offered water to the table which for me is strange in the the warm weather and very spicy food.
With better service I would have given a five star rate.

Most unique, creative vegan food in town. You’ll be blown away by the options and how you don’t even know it’s vegan. Xavier and the rest of the staff are the friendliest kindest in L.A. If you want a gourmet quality meal at a reasonable price and be made to feel like you’re a local regular, this is the place!

We decided to stop and rest of feet after walking up and down Montana Ave during their sidewalk sale. It was a warm summer humid day in Santa Monica.
Margo's was a perfect oasis. At first I wanted to sit inside, thinking they would have air conditioning. I was wrong. It was a sauna inside. There is a small bar right in front if you want to sit for a cocktail, but we chose to order, pay and find a table outside around the corner where we could get an ocean breeze. This is not a full service restaurant as it once was pre pandemic.
Service was a bit slow, because they were under staffed and this is why I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5. I had to walk into the restaurant and ask for glasses for water. Outside there is a self service station with chilled water, but no glasses/ cups.
We ordered a mushroom pizza and a baby kale salad to share. The food arrived and it smelled so good, but we had to ask for extra plates. I wanted to have a plate for my pizza and salad because we were sharing both items. I also had to ask the staff for refills on my ice tea.
The mushroom pizza was delicious! We love mushrooms, so it was heavenly! The baby kale salad was so tasty with the crunchy toasty faro. I will definitely recommend both items again.

Full Service restaurant this time. Yay! We shared a Mushroom Pizza and Brussel Sprouts. The Happy Hour Menu has a limited array of food a drink so we only ordered the margaritas from the happy hour menu. I love their Mushroom pizza so I stuck to what I liked. We shared the Brussel Sprouts and I really liked the olive oil with the pistachios!
I LOOOOVE Margo’s! They have an incredible menu with superb vegan dishes. I love their Breakfast Pizza, Cacio E Pepe, Mushroom Pizza, but my FAV is the Chicken Caesar Wrap - it’s heavenly.
