Decided to have a simple dinner this Friday and have been wanting to try this place. Had the cheesesteaks, fries and beer. Great sandwich with a load of meat on it. Fries were very tasty. Only issue would be that the mushrooms (extra on the sammys) were a bit tough and the sandwich needed salt. Otherwise, we would definately come back for the cheesesteaks or maybe try the gyro's. If you get the chance....go.

Santa Rosa Sunshine hits the spot
30A Girl Friday. One of the best little joints near 30A that holds true to its name: South of Philly does it right...your first bite in the LARGE Philly will have you coming back again and again. If you are like me and don't care for all the bread, they make a Philly quesadilla that is equally tasty if not better. Everything I have tried is delicious and made fresh to order along with homemade sides and piping hot thick crisp French fries. Oh and the strawberry yogurt ice cream is AMAZING!
FANTASTIC Food and Service. South of Philly was our first stop in Santa Rosa Beach and was one of our favorites. Best philly sub and awesome spicy shrimp tacos! Very good service and personality too. My 5 year old chatted it up with the owner/manager. Just an all around great place. Thanks!
Vacation Favorite. Came down to Seagrove from Georgia this last week and found a new spot to have dinner. Fast and friendly service with an affordable price on 30-A. Had the pulled pork tacos and was very impressed. Chips and queso were delicious. Hope to see them again when we come down in October!
True 30-A gem. I had the 12 inch Philly and my wife had the chicken Philly. My sandwich just melted in my mouth. Excellent ingredients on a phenomenology roll of bread. My wife isn't a big eater, but she downed her entire sandwich. We both also loved that Zapps chips were offered with our combos. Great beach meal. 4.5 out of 5.

This is my brothers favorite place. I don’t love Philly cheesesteaks, but I was willing to try. I actually really like the Philly cheesesteak. I love that it was warm and the bread was really soft. I also like their special sauce. The food came out nice and fast and it was a decent price. I would definitely come back for more. You can get sandwich, fries, and a drink for about 16 bucks.
GREAT Philly cheesesteak!!! I’m from Philly n this is one of the best I’ve ever had. The rolls were Amoroso n very fresh. The fries were good but the baked beans were homemade and excellent too. We splurged and got a brownie and chocolate chip cook which also were homemade n yummy! We did take out and the guy at the counter was very nice.

Huge portions, amazing staff. The only downside was the phillys are made with hamburger instead of sliced steak, but I’d still come back. The onion rings were awesome and the burgers are doubles. After a day at the beach under the sun this hit the spot!
Very cool Vibe with great 👍 food and Customer service. The Decor of the Restaurant is very important because of it's patriotic pictures of the United States Armed Forces. Definitely my Go to place for Philly Steak Sandwiches and much more. See you there.

I have been trying to visit this restaurant for the past few months. I finally came in this evening and let me tell you, I was NOT dissapointed in the slightest. The owner, Patrick was amazing and everyone working gave impeccable customer service. The food was delicious! This was the best cheesesteak I have had that wasn't in Pennsylvania. This is a must try for all the foodies out there that enjoy this type of food.
I kept riding my bike past this sandwich (and so much more) shop, but never stopped in until last night. I should have come sooner... I plan to add this place to my regular rounds. I appreciate the generous portions of their tasty food. I also appreciate the extremely nice owner that took our order and came to make sure it all came out well. I commented on how soft the bread was and discovered that these sandwiches are made on bread that is delivered from Phillie three times a week. Dedication to the craft. Do yourself a favor and stop by.
5-star food and service! Have been eating at this restaurant for many years. Newest owners have somehow improved upon the already amazing menu, as well as fixed up the interior. You can't go wrong with a Philly, but there are many other options available if you're looking to try something new. Burgers, a gyro, salads, wings.... there is something for everyone! Owners and staff really add to the experience with friendliness. Everything is clean, and the music is great!
Good cheesesteak but would've liked just a little more cheese in it to get that 5 star rating for myself but the service was excellent very friendly staff! The fries and onion rings were great and the south of Philly sauce
