I don’t leave reviews but i had to leave one. My wife and I just had the best meal of our life!! You have to go! Yes you will drop a pretty penny but it is worth it!! If you are a foodie, I promise you this will not disappoint!! Absolutely Amazing!!!
Roux 30a is hands down the finest dining on the emerald coast. The food and wine pairing were second to none, and the service/interaction with the chef made for a dining experience like no other!
My wife and I visited Roux 30A in April 2023. It was one of those places where a 5 star review can't express how outstanding the experience was. Every plate was incredible: original, fresh, flavorful, using out of the ordinary ingredients and spices. Chef John Engle was fantastic, finished cooking each dish in front of us and explained every detail. We really enjoyed chatting with him. The wine pairing was great and extremely reasonably priced. My wife and I were blown away, and we keep talking about that night as one of the best dinning experiences we have ever had.
Great place for a date night or celebration. Seating is limited... I would say about 36-42 seats total including bar space. My wife made the reservations we knew a little about the restaurant. We had been to a place like this in St. Thomas and loved it. Glad we found a place like it close to home. It is a tasting resturant that gives you in this case decent sized portions of each coarse. Amazing house sparkling wine, and starting off with some kind of salad. The menu changes every Tuesday. Looking forward to celebrating with them again soon! It reminds me of the way I like to entertain at home.
One of the best dining experiences we have EVER had. Far exceeded our expectations. The team puts exceptional care into the food and wine presentation and treats you like family. Can’t wait to enjoy another visit real soon.
$$$$ This was my first experience at Roux 30A. The food was delicious! It is a gourmet tasting restaurant, six courses including dessert. The chef takes great pride in his menu and his ability to adjust to seasonal and locally sourced food. Although the tiger prawns were supposed to be from Australia, why not local shrimp? The service is excellent. The atmosphere is cozy with an upscale casual vibe. Roux 30A has a very nice wine list. The waiter will recommend pairings with the courses. Although you can bring your own wine also. Dinner starts at 7 pm don't be late.
2022 update: second visit as enjoyable as the first yet still exceeded expectations. This time we were joined by a wonderful couple who made the evening very special. Our menu seemed more refined and more diverse palate-wise. We hedged our wine options by trying both the Select and Grand Cru pairings with both very enjoyable with the latter having a significant edge. Just make the reservation.
2021: Phenomenal wine list, we had the prestige pairing and LOVED the whole experience. Although I was initially concerned about the location, it was the service, food, and wine which made the our night celebrating our anniversary incredibly special.
Although I'm focusing on a plant based diet (vegan) they artfully modified my six-course meal with thoughtful variations which occasionally surpassed my wife's "regular" meal.

Absolute phenomenal dinner by Chef @roux30a. What a creative mind putting together a 6 course meal for us from local sea and farm to table resources full of unforgettable flavors in every bite. Wine pairing was fantastic and staff service was excellent. Nothing but suburb all around! My only complaint is we don't have a location near us in GA. Lol. Would travel down 6.5 hours for this experience again.
We travel to this area several times a year and each time we come, our meal at Roux 30A is the highlight of our trip. My husband and I are travelers and have eaten at Michelin starred restaurants around the world. Our favorite restaurant? Roux 30A. The food is absolute perfection. I am a vegetarian and my courses are sophisticated and delicious - right along with my husband's. A big part of the experience is Korey - see picture. He is welcoming, warm, entertaining and knowledgeable - he is an old friend at this point. Shout out to Drew as well who does a great job taking care of us. We will be back ... again and again.
Dear friends treated my husband and me to dinner here last night. Every dish was out of this world. Amazing! The chef is a genius.
