The food was good the portions were big had Italian beef sandwiches and large fry couldn't finish either of them 2 of us ate for $23.If your from the chitown area like us I recommend stopping in.They have a lot of Chicago nostalgia on the walls.

Since the boat house at the Hyatt closed this has the best burger in town. A must visit for those from Chicago just to see the memorabilia. Burgers are great French fries fresh cut potatoes great hole in the wall place.

If ur from Chicago & are in Sarasota, this so far is the best beef I've found. Especially important now that I'm hearing unhappy Portillos customers near Tampa. The restaurant is small, quaint, & loaded with Chicago paraphernalia. The grill is visable behind the counter, as are the fresh potato cut french fryers. The owner is present & very personable. If visiting in March, they offer a phenomenal ticket/food bus-trip to the Hawks vs Lightning Game. The location I'm commenting on is located in a cool , old-town type, international restaurant cuisine area. Easily accessible from t Rt 41 & Clark St. Enjoy �
